Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Platypus Day!
Are you a member of the Plat Earth Society?
No but I'm a member of Disney23 Fan club. Lol
My college roommate would always substitute the word 'platypus' whenever anyone was trying to remember a word. For instance:
Me: 'You know that thing, you use it in a garden. I can't think of what it's called-- you, know, a...'
Me: 'No, not platypus. You know, not a rake, not a hoe, but...'
Me: ..... Nevermind.
I do the same thing with the actor "Ving Rhames". It really seems to throw people.
Friend: Who was that actress in that movie wearing leotards and a tutu?
Me: Oh, you mean Ving Rhames.... LOL
He's right. You can certainly use a platypus in the garden, they perform myriad tasks.
It's a thing. It rhymes with ving.
