Is this a thread just to start a thread? Or is there some in joke that I'm completely missing?
This thread illustrates a member so happy with Milepoint, they even share the location where he/she is experiencing this overwhelming joy.
People love Milepoint so much it can be hard to contain emotions.
Maybe with so many grumpy about being stuck in Silver status, the location of the few happy members is now being posted so you can know if one is near you.
Did you just pull into Dubai on an A380? I hear a certain first class feature into that city tends to trigger this reaction...
We're glad you're a happy member leo4peace and hope you continue to post!
I bet you are right as I am a Silver and feel shorted.
Your status shows as only "member" -- did you lose your silver status? What did you do?
I'm in the Silver club... it's not so bad
Silver here too, but not too concerned about it. Getting information, and posting to trends I like and enjoy are just fine for me. Perhaps Silver Forever? Not a big deal.
visit the lounges, meet other members and you'll soon be elevated
I'm an "Active Member"...
I'm a Happy Member who should not have had the spicy chicken for lunch.
just to be making a post, for the sake of getting enough posts, might be ok for some. But just to make comments such as 'me too' , "yes', " I agree' or a smiley face, to get gold status, just isn't what the boards should be about.
Seems like you got a promotion--you're now showing as Silver. Welcome to purgatory
It definitely isn't what Milepoint is about, but our audience is made up of frequent flyers who strive for status in everything... so we don't blame them
Well, if we're honest, many of us probably do blame them for anything they do for status that we ourselves won't do.
Just as when driving, everyone going slower than oneself is an idiot slowpoke, and everyone going faster is a maniac.
