This was a very standard Hampton Inn. The price was in-line with most Hamptons and it was as close a hotel as I could get for the part of West Texas in which I was working, so I'd stay here again. The good: The hotel looks like it was renovated recently. Parking is easy. The hotel was very quiet. The traffic light at the end of the parking lot makes it easy to get back onto the main road. They had the grab and go breakfast bags available at 4:45am. The bad: No recognition of status. My diamond status wasn't mentioned at check-in, and I didn't get waters. It's a Hampton, so there isn't much they could do anyway, but at least having it mentioned would have been nice. Finally, something to be aware of in case you're working in Texas. Texas and New Mexico are NOT in the same timezone, so you may have to get up extra early.
