http://hamptoninn.hilton.com/en/hp/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=IAGHAHX For our first time at Niagara Falls, last July we stayed at this Hampton Inn located centrally in Niagara Falls, on a main street. We stayed on an award night, after checking out the rather high costs of NIagara hotels in the summer. The hotel is located right on the street, with a small driveway/entryway where you can pull in temporarily, to go in and register. Parking is located at the back, a large open lot, with more than enough spaces. Access through a back entry door allowed us to bring in luggage on available carts, although the heavy doors and small entryway and hall made it a bit challenging to navigate to the elevator. There are 127 rooms on several floors, and the place was quite busy during our stay. The rooms surround a floor to ceiling interior lobby/courtyard that contains the front desk, concierge desk, daily breakfast area and small pool. There are photos of the interior on the hotel's website. When busy, this area was somewhat noisy, including noise from the pool, but that was expected. The noise did not impact our night's sleep. The Concierge Desk was not always staffed, but we had a good experience with them when we called days ahead and booked a city bus tour with them - very helpful, and tickets were ready for us on arrival. The tour was very informative and fit in nicely with a one day stay. The room was standard, average size room and bathroom, and reasonably comfortable for a one night stay. The morning breakfast buffet was included in the stay - good for basics: cereal, coffee, fruit, but not much more. Ample breakfast seating and a friendly waitress. Front desk staff was also friendly and helpful with driving directions - sometimes short waits at this busy desk. All in all, this hotel met our needs.
