Hampshire plane crash: Four onboard light aircraft which hit car auction site near Blackbushe Airport

A light aircraft carrying four people has crashed into a car auction site in Yately, Hampshire, while attempting to land at Blackbushe airport.

The emergency services were called to the scene at the British Car Auctions (BCA) dealership near the border with Hampshire and Surrey at around 3:10pm, after the aircraft crashed and caused a large fire. The plane involved was a Phenom 300, the BCA said in a statement.

It is unclear if anyone was injured. However, Sky News has reported that one person has died, citing an unknown source.

Footage shows the aircraft ablaze, as acrid smoke rises from its wreckage. Firefighters can been seen dousing the plane with water.
