Telegraph: Grand Canyon? Try Cheddar Gorge, Britons told

Not sure it's THAT comparable to the Grand Canyon....

A trip to Cheddar Gorge could easily be worked in with a trip to Bath, Salisbury/Stonehenge or other parts of the Soutwest! I know people who have visited the Cheddar Caves and really liked it!

after reading that article, i have to really question their reasoning. comparing the Brighton Pavilion to the Taj Mahal? have they seen the Taj in person? b/c, yeah, not sure if they just assume these travelers would be equally impressed with just about anything cuz they've never been anywhere or not. LOL!

i have always wanted to travel the area you mentioned above but never seem to have the time. i agree that comparing the Grand Canyon to Cheddar Gorge is a bit of a stretch. :)
