OK, so I just completed a 15 day rental with Hertz, total cost was $1100. I dropped the ball and forgot to request the frequent flyer mileage credit, I assume this can be done retroactively, or...?

Also, do I get a per day mileage credit or is this revenue based...? Trying to understand how many miles (AAdvantage) I will be getting here and it its worth the "work"...?

    Thanks,
    Alex / Gaucho

There is a form for Retroactive Credit: Go to Hertz.com main page, at the bottom Customer Service and then Frequent Traveler ( a retroactive form will propagate) I would of provided a link but my information propagated to the form. Good luck and Safe Travels

If someone has a link to where its explained how many miles you get that would be great.

    Thanks,

Personally I think you're better off keeping Hertz points. Amount of AA miles is governed by the rate code you used and if you signed up for any promotions. There will be a fixed amount of points. Hertz points are based on the revenue.

However, if you rarely rent with Hertz or really need the bump of a few hundred AA miles that needs consideration.

There's also a quick link for those with a Hertz account. In your profile view just click missing points request link.

Hi.. Anyone else having issues with Skymiles being credited correctly when renting through Hertz? I have the base miles credited but not the daily miles. Who should I contact? Delta or Hertz?
