This has been available for quite awhile now. Did something about the policy or destinations change?

AA sent out their newsletter "AAirmail" reminding ppl about this great partnership.

TBH I stick to TrueBlue miles just to stay diversified. I don't need the AA base miles.

These are redeemable miles and not status miles, right?

I'll admit I don't know a thing about Jet Blue's frequent flyer program. Do they have any airline partners that you can redeem miles on?

Pardon my AA newbie question. It says "base miles" are earned. Does that mean that they count towards million miler status and post as EQMs?

As a sort-of comparison, I looked at AA's page regarding their partnership with AS....that page explicitly states that flights on AS earn EQM...

    Hopefully, AA will clarify! :)

Yep, just RDM unfortunately and no 500 mile minimum for elites. I've flown with them between JFK and IAD and only got 228 RDM.

I can tell you they definitely don't post as EQM, but I'm not sure about them counting towards MM as my last JetBlue flight was before the MM change in December.

After 10 flights you automatically qualify for EXP on AA plus you get to choose which Hotel Program you want to get triple points with for life.

Not as good as million miler status but whatever.

Frequent Flyer Programs have become useless ever since the great devaluation of 1981.

    Good Luck!;)

AA's rep confirmed that base miles earned on HA and AS would count toward MM, but never got back to the poster who singled out B9 in the original thread on MMer status.

Based on the policy, it seems you would. AA has yet to confirm though. Maybe we can send up a flare to get a quick response soon, they've been good about jumping in lately.

As of today, no. There are rumors of such partnerships coming at some point but they do not exist yet.

The TrueBlue program works with the points basically assigned a cash value (1.05 - 1.55 cents, last time I audited it), and when you redeem the points required is based on the going rate for the tickets at that time. The only way to really "game" the system there is to get cheap flights > 1600 miles as every 10 of those nets an extra 10,000 points. And even that isn't a particularly awesome scheme.

On the other hand, if you fly them a lot on mid-range fares the program can actually become quite lucrative quite quickly. After $1500 spend (assuming booked online) you get an extra 4,000 Bonus points for every additional $500 (the bonuses for the first three $500 thresholds are lower).

Two flights I took in December that show up under the Million Miler tab in my AA account summary. Sorry, was posting from my phone and was too lazy to type up a lot of details ;)

Indeed, with some sort of earn and burn reciprocity, but no details yet. I'm pressing my sources to get more information.

Was just reading this thread with the hopes that Jetblue from JFK-DEN would credit to AA with EQM. After seeing the $138 r/t fare this was a no brainer if so, though a great deal I was looking for the EQMs so no go for me...
