Hearing rumors of a shut down on Wednesday. Any truth to it? What's the story?
The union rejected a mediators proposal on Friday.
There is a meeting today to discuss the course of action. The union has pledged to give 24 hours' notice of any work stoppage.
The union said that if the union did opt to strike, the strike would come this week.
Oh boy, dodging the AC FA strike by a day but ending up in the middle of an ATC strike...the joys of travel! Thanks, shall keep my eyes out for news reports this week.
Understand that the union will resume talks on Wednesday, so no walkout anticipated for that day or likely the balance of the week.
Apparently new contact agreed to. All is well.
