No it only applies to JMB FLY ON status members which doesn't include JGC. The only "new" benefit for JGC is the express security lane at ITM and FUK which has been announced earlier
So how are we going to use those stupid HND lounge coupons now Give them out to random strangers? But "everyone" in Japan has JGC LOL
I got more stupid lounge coupons now...I can use the F lounge already...I guess the only plus I get is 5 domestic J and 2 F upgrade
the class j-e coupons are so useless for me. I guess I will fly 2 domestic flights each year if I want to maintain Crystal
those class J e-coupons already posted for me
yup posted for me too
actually is it 2 or 4? Will they give 2 when u reach JGCP and 2 more when u reach Diamond? The whole thing is so confusing
Are they really going to give us a super fancy C seats that will result in big capacity decrease in C? CX can fit 53 J seats from behind F to L3 on their new 77D. JAL currently has two more rows behind L3 with 77 NEO seats in W82 config. So With a similar design, JAL will be able to fit 61 C seats, that is 16 less seats IF they decide not to reduce the PY cabin. I have the feeling that PY isn't working out for JAL and ANA. If they reduce the PY cabin size by 50%, they can probably fit in 2 more rows so C cabin size would reduce by 8 seats only...why do we need such a big elite program overhaul for this? We can deal with having 8 less seats to redeem per flight
And if you compare with W73 used on European routes, they only have 63 C seats onboard. That's hardly any reduction if they use similar config as CX even without the PY cabin reduction
Are they just making excuses? Or is the new C seats really that good!?
Woot hook me up with F lounge coupons please.
Sheesh now i will have less chance of getting upgradable seats flying to SYD. This does suck but still the price of upgradable seats is so high that in itself must put a lot of people off.
those are for HND domestic Sakura lounge...have you read the posts/site? He picked UGPs for his service selection so he probably doesn't have F lounge coupons
i don't see how u have less chance...it's a resort route anyway
simmo you can consider using the UGPs on your mom instead. she doesn't get 50% off upgrade awards so you can just spend the UGPs on her and use miles for yourself
I could but it looks like she will be flying for work as she`s about to take or probably will take a regional Asia/Australia job which involves 50% travel around Asia and given how high up her job will be, i suspect that will be all in C so i`ll be excited about assist him maximise her miles etc. If she flies C with Qantas then i`d still tell her to go JMB haha
assist him her miles
well if she ever flies to the US or Europe, you can upgrade her from C to F...or even between CGK and NRT
Trust me, she`ll be banging out the miles (if she lands this job) that i`ll be stealing her miles and upgrade points lol.
what upgrade points tell her to fly on NH instead
If she flies C with Qantas (changes are OW would be our business preferred carrier) without south east asia then she can bang out those FOP but the problem is that`s okay but she won`t fly JAL so i need to work out how to get her some decent FOP with JAL. Hmmmmmm or if she is *A then ANA all the way!
she won't get any status on JAL. she needs to fly at least 50% of the FOPs/sectors on JAL. That's the only good thing that comes out of this change
stick with QF don't waste time on JMB
