I read about this earlier... I was a little confused by this. If Rick decides to stop writing the blog then what happens? They bought his blog name and have others write it?

I think Rick just got PAID!

I would think he negotiated it so he keeps writing and his whole staff aka family are kept on.

He is the brand so if they lose him there is no point in paying him so much to get it.

He must have signed some type of contract to write for several years and maybe continue to do guest posts a la Arthur Frommer. Possibly, maybe? I dunno.

Smart and VERY frugal move. Can I win the lottery next?
hdawg, gleff and iolaire like this.
