Not really a review or a question but more of a suggestion/recommendation.

If any of you are the outdoorsy type, camping on Oahu is excellent and can be a great way to save money! No you don't have to live like a hobo either! (Foodland was just down the road)

A couple of years back I stayed at a private campground (versus a public state area) called Friends of Malaekahana which was an awesome campground for ~8$ a night. Just out of Laie (near the Polynesian Cultural Center), it's a great place to access the north shore from. Also, waking up to essentially your own private beach was terrific!
  2. Thanks - I will need to think about this next time I have an opportunity. I have camped all over Europe, along with a variety of global airports :p

I like mixing it up with hotel and hobo :)
