    Don't forget that it was reported that France beside Italy are the fastest growing markets for McDonald's! ;)

    Ok but a full baguette is really quite a lot per day. Half seems more in proportion.

    Regarding McD... I love it. Especially when the fries are just pulled out of the frier. When eaten immediately it's almost as good as a restaurant triple frying them in duck fat.

    Perhaps we should examine if the French have ditched the baguette for the cronut.
