Hi, I am attending the dinner only. I am staying at the Hilton that night. Anyone up for sharing a cab? :)

I'll be at dinner. Not so sure about transit but I'm staying at an AirBnB near the Marriott.

There will be buses back and forth between the Museum of Flight and the Marriott. The Hilton is easily walkable from the Marriott.

Buses will start moving folks between 4:45 and 5pm. The museum is open to Freddie attendees early and free of charge. We'll also have the run of all the flight simulators from 5:30 pm until 7.

I raised this issue a while ago and wrote an email directly to Randy and never heard anything. Saw the posts about people wanting to go now but we have made other plans for that evening.

ditto as well! Planning to take a later bus - and do the CL at the Marriott at 5:30pm

Also - I will likely be in the Marriott CL in and out through out the day. I arrive in SEA at 11:10am - so I have all day to hang around the hotel.

Staying until Monday, have reservation at Marriott for Sunday - but then another reservation for Sunday downtown - so will decide when I am there at FTU.

I'm at the Marriott in Bellevue for the first night, then moving to the host hotel for two nights. I will have a car if anyone needs transportation.

Anyone heading over early? That is great that we will have access to the flight simulators! I'll walk over to the Marriott around 5pm.

First busses leave at 4:45pm to 5pm - so might to get to the hotel earlier if you want to access the sims.

Off topic. Unforseen circumstances will prevent me from attending the FTU. I have a ticket I will gladly give to anyone who can really use it. No charge. No BS. Just a gift to someone who needs a ticket.

I'll be there - looking forward to the simulators as well - and, obviously, the ceremony. Will be interesting to see the Americas winners this year.

Dress code? I know Randy's email specifies Business casual..but would appreciate additional input from someone who has been there before.

I'm wearing slacks & a dress shirt. Avoid jeans and t-shirts and you should be fine. Some will be in suits but that won't be me.

I wore a fancier dress than business last year and did not feel out of place. I am planning on the same this year.

    :):)
As I read the email - the dress is "business" not business casual. Business for men means a jacket and tie - could be a sportcoat or a suit. Women have more flexiblity - but there has been a wide range in the past - with fancy cocktail dresses by some. For women, you can't be overdressed at the Freddies. Depends on how flashy you want to be.

Men without jacket and tie will be few (and will stand out as underdressed).

(Think Oscar's and the red carpet!)

Well 95% of men will have a jacket, and a few with open collar.

Obviously I was at the extreme, but you would not be out of place with Black Tie and long dress.
