Hunki and I both were using RC slippers that we picked up somewhere along the way, but I noticed his were wearing out. Typically, the slippers provided are too small for him and too big for me. When we arrived at the Four Seasons in Vegas earlier this week, I notice that we had two pair of size medium slippers in our room. When I called and asked if we could exchange them for one large and one small, they were most accomodating. Yeah, now we have new travel slippers that fit.
Some hotels have nicer slippers in their gift shops that come in sizes, even though the cheaper version provided in rooms do not.
I have quite a bunch of those and some Peninsula slippers too. I've never tried to wash them; I usually toss them on a trip when they get too disgusting for swimming pool use or after I've showered in an airport lounge.
I only used them at home (after the hotel stay), and I had a whole bunch too. And I feel bad tossing them away when it's still usable. Trying to be green, I guess.
Another use is to donate them (along with sample-size cosmetic freebies and hotel toiletries you don't need) to a battered women's shelter. They appreciate a bit of luxury.
that is a really classy idea...I think I will do that on my next trip...MSPeconomist love the gold status...of course now I have status envy...
I dunno. I was a little disappointed in them. They were a bit small for my feet, and I don't love the open toe. When I looked down at my feet they looked really fem!
