    I think it's like the Ritz Carlton... a little stuffy and properly overpriced for NYC.

    If I was going to pay those rates (which I wouldn't) I'd stay at the new Hyatt, or even aim for smaller and more modern boutique hotels in the city. Then again, I suppose it all depends on your preference.

  7. I think I will pass wait for either Downtown to open at but really had an excellent stay at Mandarin Oriental all I really want is a bit more room without paying 2000 dollars a night. But the spa there which I love is excellent.
