what do you think about the hotel?
It's a beautiful hotel, of course so is the Ritz-Carlton Kyoto, but all two are very expensive [even within their brands] and I'm glad that Four Seasons expands further, but we haven't stayed at a Four Seasons in a longer time, but we hope to stay with them in our future again.
Cheers & Safe Travels.
To put in perspective it looks more dear than the George V
I just feel if I can go to Florence cheaper then I will go there.
and why is both FS in NYC cheaper than Kyoto ?
NYC has a more competitive luxury hotel landscape, ie. more choices than Kyoto, also the barriers in opening and operating a luxury hotel in Kyoto might be somewhat higher than in NYC or the US as a whole when compared against Japan.
Florence is indeed a beautiful city and their Four Seasons is often said by some to be the best hotel in the city beside the St. Regis or Portrait Suites plus some others, good choices abound in Florence.
We loved Florence when we went. We stayed at the Westin. It's not that I don't love the sort of 4S or Ritz luxury, I just can't wrap my head around paying that much. It shouldn't be that different, but I don't feel nearly as bad burning obscene sums of points for luxury hotels.
florence or kyoto
Neither/both. More of a general comment about paying more than $500 a night for a hotel room making me nauseous.
We spent 1500 on George V !!
You know what is really funny., when I try other chains none of them do the same job as the Four Seasons. Four Seasons somehow does something magical. Its beyond amazing. And in Orlando they did it many times
I don't doubt it. But, those prices...
I love the hotel might book
has anyone been to this or the ritz carlton?
