I just realized that the dates I'm flying home to the US via Tokyo correspond with the Japanese Formula 1 Grand Prix in Suzuka. If i can weasel my way into the race (can't afford the $900+ 3 day passes when i'm only there for race day) it would be my third F1 GP this year and the third one in Asia.

This is very exciting time for me as I've always liked F1 but never really had an opportunity to go... now I've done my first one in Malaysia flying into Kuala Lumpur from Singapore for a day on race day, tickets to the race and flights were all under $100USD bargain!

I also singed up to volunteer at the Singapore F1 night race and was accepted... sooo looking forward to that. The training for field marshals seems pretty intense, but the motorsports scene in SG is huge!

Now to plan for Tokyo... is anyone else going? Anybody got cheap tickets to spare?
