Is it possible to use my $100 eCert on checking bags, SDC, etc.

I would go for a gate UG but I'm in U buckets, and I'm not 18 for the SC.

I don't think you can use the cert for bags. However, if you bought your ticket online and you're a sky miles member, you can cancel in 24 hrs no charge and then rebook. Have you thought about that option?

BTW, 18 to join SC, but 21 to enter if it is a self serve bar.

I know you can not use the cert for bags. As for SDC, you probably can, but finding an agent that can figure out how to do it my be the hard part.

Long past the 24 hour period...can it be done over the phone too?

Unfortunately eCerts are only valid on travel and not baggage, upgrades etc.

Remember to use it next time!

Unless you're in a refundable fare category, my guess is no. But you'll get a chance to fly again, no? Or you can do what I've done -- Give the ecerts to family members. I often give my to my folks who are retired.

I might go down there in April again (which is when I got it) or I might get a trip for the coming summer booked.
