AIRLINE OWNERSHIP REFORM AIMS TO BOOST INVESTMENT
Brazil is preparing legislation to allow greater foreign ownership of its airlines, in what is expected to be the country’s first big reform under Dilma Rousseff, the new president.
The move is designed to boost investment in the country’s airlines, helping improve infrastructure as Brazil gears up to host the football World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics two years later.
