Travelers passing through Ronald Reagan National and Washington Dulles International airports will likely see a very different swath of restaurant and retail options within the next two years.

About 80 percent of the retail and food/beverage leases at both airports will come to the end of their terms in the next 30 months, and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority has hired a new management company to shepherd the leasing process.

MarketPlace Development will be in charge of releasing about 68 spaces at National and 75 spaces at Dulles. That includes both storefronts and restaurants, as well as kiosks.

10 months later the changes are starting. Paradies has replaced Faber as the standard magazine/drinks/snacks shop throughout IAD.
