|| Food bug hits top Noma restaurant ||
Don't know if it's correct but some English language news station in Spain attributed it to "a sick worker"
Thanks for the info.
It's still disgusting. I stay away from entire countries for fear of stomach bugs and wouldn't be very happy to be sick from eating at such a place as Noma is.
I feel blessed for apparently having a cast-iron stomach. I've had street food all over SE Asia. Never an upset tummy for it, and I'm pretty sure nobody's getting Western-style health inspections for their food carts.
A sick worker sounds potentially more serious that just a food bug. To me, it suggests typhus or hepatitis.
Not to say that BOS and CPH are the same, but there is a nasty gastroenteritis bug going around here that seems to be passed from not contagious people to others. Its been around my office and around a friends. Just a 24h feel horrable kinda thing.
I did the same. Only thing that upset my stomach in SE Asia was to much Beer Lao. However, this bug destroyed me for a night.
It was reported on the news that it was a norovirus.
Hepatitis has much different symptoms and doesn't appear right away
Thanks for the update.
