Folios Now Available on Hyatt.com

    Dear Milepoint Members,

    We are excited to announce a new enhancement to Hyatt.com, guests staying at North American Full Service hotels will now be able to retrieve guest folios (bills) in real time via a self-service retrieval form on Hyatt.com.

    This service will allow guests to retrieve folios in real time in a PDF formatted folio. Retrieval is available for completed stays beginning the day after checkout, with continued availability for 90 days after checkout. Real time retrieval will be valid for both Hyatt Gold Passport and non-Hyatt Gold Passport guests.

    • Hyatt Gold Passport members will have the option of linking to goldpassport.com, where they will be able to retrieve their folio from a list of recently completed reservations, or they will be able to follow the same steps for non-Hyatt Gold Passport guests.
    • To get started open hyatt.com/hotelbill. The Retrieve Hotel Bill form will be displayed.

    Is that really new? While it didn't always work, I have certainly accessed folios via my Gold Passport Account page for past stays.

    FINALLY!!! This makes me very happy, especially since Hyatts won't put folios under doors like other hotel chains will. :) Sometimes I'm just in a HUGE hurry in the morning and this gives me peace of mind!

    I have never had a problem downloading them from hyatt.com before.

    You must be staying at a different subset of Hyatt properties than I am. I certainly have received folios under my door as recently as two weeks ago.

    Yup, I can't remember the last time I didn't receive a bill under the door.

    In fact HR Santa Clara asked me specifically if I wanted it under the door or via email.

    I'll try it right now. Since I moved to Hyatt in August of 2010, I've never been able to request folios for HP stays online. They always leave them under the door. At FS properties, I never receive the bill under the door.

    ETA: Just tried to retrieve some folios and got the following

    "Your hotel bill was not found for the specified stay date(s). So that we may better serve you, please provide the additional information below and your hotel bill will be sent by email or fax if it is available."

    I asked for email during one of my stays there. I still got it under the door and no email haha.

    Wow, I have never had one under the door, but have always had it available online or emailed if I asked.

    I thought this was available all along? Didn't always work though and I wish international properties were included as well.
