Flying free with Flex perks points from Atlanta to Melbourne, part of the journey on United, another part on Qantas--two different airline alliances. I have input my Kris flyer membership to get the most out of my United segments. Is it feasible to try to get AA miles out of the Qantas segments? If so, how do you do it without screwing everything up? Thanks

Do what mattsteg says, bearing in mind that you are
entitled to those points anyway, but be sure to follow
up afterwards. It is amazing how check-in procedures
(and even agents) can ball up simple tasks like keeping
track of two FF accounts at once.
