I remember seeing it for the first time at IAH on the ramp and at the 75th anniversary party with Kellner when I was IAH based. It is a most awesome RetroJet indeed.

I have seen it a few times at IAH, but never flown it. Is it retro inside, too? That would mean E++ for everyone in coach. Oh... and a smoking section. ;)

I was on it the first time it few to RSW. As I was walking out towards security, there were about a half-dozen CO agents all running the opposite direction with cameras saying, "I can't believe it's really here!!!"

It's like finding Neverland! Just kidding its an normal interior but there is a commemorative plague nearby the Aft galley area. It's hard to miss when you board the aircraft.

    Normal plane inside.
You make it back to the aft galley when boarding?? I try not to make it past the first class cabin. :p ;)

Here's another photo of the plane, slightly larger, from the party tour it did back in 2009.

And don't forget the United Retrojet:

Waiting at Belize airport to go home for Christmas last week. The Continental retro jet taxi's in. I assumed they were so busy they had to pull an old jet out of mothballs to service us! Ordinary plane on the inside. E+ seating. But the Continental logo is a bit confusing considering the year of transition we just went through.

Given how United is now operated with Continental management, mindset and reservations software, I find it rather appropriate.
