Finnair has revamped its fare structure, introducing five new ticket types across its economy and business class products.

The carrier said that the aim of the restructuring was to “improve clarity in ticket pricing and offer fares to all segments of customers”.

The new fares will be available from November 28, and are split as follows:

Basic: this is the best available economy fare (non-changeable and non-refundable), including a meal and drink, one piece of checked luggage, one piece of carry-on luggage, and 50 per cent Finnair Plus points.

Value: an economy fare with the added benefits of being able to change name, flight or date for a fee, a partial refund for unused tickets, and 100 per cent Finnair Plus points.

Pro: the top economy fare, including priority check-in, boarding and baggage claim services, two pieces of checked luggage, advance seat selection, unlimited ticket flexibility, full refund of unused tickets, and 150 per cent Finnair Plus points.

Business Saver: a seat in the business class cabin, including lounge access, priority check-in, boarding and baggage claim services, two pieces of checked and carry-on luggage, and advance seat selection. This fare offers limited ticket flexibility and is partially refundable. It is only available on intercontinental flights, and offers 200 per cent Finnair Plus points.

Business: All of the Business Saver benefits, plus unlimited ticket flexibility and full refunds.
