    Hello

This is my first post and many months of browsing.

I hope someone would be kind enough to help. I am wanting to fly (2 passengers) to San Francisco from London on Virgin on 17 September. At the moment there are no reward mileage seats. Is there any way of finding out how many seats are empty on the aircraft ? I might allow me to know if the chance of getting the seats closer to the time.

    Many thanks in advance

You might think that the two are directly related but they generally are not. I don't think that VS has a habit of opening up seats last minute for awards if they are unsold.

You might check for tomorrow's flight and see if a last minute reward seat is open..I will let you know if seats open at the last minute.,,,maybe..

I see UA doing it some, AA has done it, jumped from J to FC not too long ago, on a PEK run, when we booked no FC was open.

Many times J or FC awards will be open when Y is not..,

I have also seen empty seats and no reward space open.

Be flexible, and ready to go...
