Hey guys...my parents were calling Citi to close their old AA business card and they find out they have 120k miles! Anyone else "find" miles by accident?

How did Citi know how many miles they had?

Since I'm flying JFK-HNL next February on an award ticket, I needed to buy myself a positioning flight there from home, and Delta was the cheapest option by far, with the best schedule. I had to call SkyMiles to retrieve my number, and they found out that I had two (one from the NW merger) and that I have 20k miles (since those miles never expire)! I can't do much with 20k SkyMiles, but it was still cool. :D

Yeah I don't understand this either. Since Citi doesn't have access to their AA account.

Sorry for being unclear...They forwarded the call to the "AA advantage desk" I think, does that make sense?

I didn't find any miles, but Citi waived the $75.00 annual fee for the year and they are giving me a 750 mile bonus every month for the next 16 months, as long as I spend $750.00 or more per month.

Have you received the Delta offer for 50% bonus on mile purchases? You could easily top off your account to at least use up those miles. Or buy more and go for a bigger award ! :)
