Anyone else noticed the all in AC pricing shown in ad.s on MP or elsewhere? High time but infinately more user-friendly.
While I like the all-in pricing while selecting your flights, I noticed an odd thing -- the one-way prices that you select include some of the taxes but not all the taxes and it is only when you roll over them that you see the fare for that segment.
What I love about these ads is the way they trumpet the virtue of all-in pricing. If it's such a virtue, why did they have to be forced into it? (And, yes, from the consumer side, I would say it is a virtue.)
Sadly the fuel surcharges are still there, though, so no relief on the reward ticket costs.
They weren't "forced" into it. They were pro-actively responding to changing customer preferences.
I know that 'cause I saw it in an Air Canada press release.
Yes. I remember the times when customers prefered not to know the price they would pay.
