Fidelity currently has a 50k AA/DL mile offer if you transfer in $100k.
    This is basically 1 mile/$2.

I'm trying to help someone who wants to transfer in $500k but Fidelity says on 50k miles max.

Anyone have better luck getting more miles with a larger deposit? I was hoping Fidelity would offer 250k miles for $500k.......but so far no luck/

I assume that's only for new customers opening an account, not for existing Fidelity customers transferring in $100k into an existing account, right?

AA miles offer is for new accounts but even if your an exisitng account holder you qualify for the Delta mile 50k/$100k offer at Fidelity.
I was an existing Fidelity account holder but a supervisor did a manual override for the AA promotion.

So, neither AA or Delta miles is only for existing accounts if you get a supervisor to override the AA. Delta miles is now setup for existing account without supervisor help.

But I want to send ion $500k....and want more points than 50k!!

you may try opening accounts under different ownerships. Dont know if the program limits to one per household, etc. But you could do 2 joint accounts (ie. open 1 account husband name first, wife second, then wife first, husband second), IRA accounts would count as addtl accounts (assuming there are IRA accts within the 500k). theres other ways to do multiple accounts with functionally the same ownership. Let me know if you need more ideas. I work in the industry so this stuff is familiar.

Appreciate your ideas but the $500k is a family member all in securities so want it one account.
Fidelity does limit it to one per household.

Since teh family member is widow it only is him so kind of stuck on that joint account concept.

Really wanted Fideilty to offer 1mile/$2....like it's 50k/$100 offer then it would be a nice 250k miles.!

If you have any other ideas I'd appreciate it.
