I'm looking at booking two round trips LAX to CDG in early November.
I was wondering what the fees and taxes on this type of booking would be

    Thanks. .

Well.... don't they just show up on the booking screen when you've selected your itinerary when you do a dummy booking?;)

Or by booking do you mean you are redeeming miles?

If booking on AA metal you can use AA.com to see the taxes and fees.

If on partner airlines you can enter your itinerary into ITAsoftware.com. Once you find your routing you can click for a breakdown on the taxes and fees, which will give you a good idea of what you'll be paying. If you're using BA it might be much higher than ITA will tell you though.

Yes I'm talking about redeeming miles.
I did a "dummy" booking but only made it as far as the point where it asks for passengers names, and I did not see a total for fees and taxes.

It should be somewhere between $80-$160 per person depending on the flights and class of service you choose. If you do a search, pick your days, pick the flights on the days and click continue it's the summary page where you'll see the total mileage needed and the total amount of taxes owed. It's above where they're asking for the names of the pax and below the intinerary.

Good luck! Paris is wonderful in the fall!

As mentioned above, the taxes are actually on that page:
