Perhaps this will be a momentous occasion to allow the cleaning of the washroom at the ORD former RCCs United Clubs?

I'd like to see that "fresh start" cleaning turned into a global event.

maybe an award could be given to the first club with all urinals in working order, with none covered in a plastic bag?

Perhaps they could also improve the Dungeons at IAD to be more airy and open instead of murky and dark like in Dungeons & Dragons?

That would require dynamiting the entire "temporary" Concourse C/D facility.

They either need to open them up, or go ahead and make it a real dungeon. The worst part is that they are only a half way dungeon.

The reality is that the rebranding to the United Club should be used as the kickoff of a major Club renovation program.

Many of the facilities are tired and require technology upgrades. The DFW Club has three small CRT televisions who's picture tubes are well past their useful life. A renovation and Its long-talked-about expansion should be immediately greenlit.

UA should use DL's ongoing makeover (read: upgrade) of its SkyClubs as its model. If management needs a prototype of what the new United Club should look like, visit AA's new AC at SFO.

It would be nice if some of the nastier lounge dragons went away with the name change.

    Absolutely.

The DL makeover is modern, it's clean, and it looks good.

Playing like the broken record (that I am ;)), showers in the legacy UA portion of the United Clubs would be a great start. Even more points if they featured the heavenly showers found in select ACs in DFW. :star:

And overseas they could start with what I like to call the Paris CDG Correctional Facility. The Star Alliance lounge there is nicer....wish they would just close the RCC/UC

I find it strange that people complain about the state of the washrooms in the RCCs/UCs but someone must be responsible for missing when pissing in the urinals?

Wish UA would get a new wifi provider that provides a high speed/wide bandwidth and get rid of those scratch cards!

At 7am I could care less about the piss on the floor. It's the "steam room" atmosphere that's almost impossible to take! Pee on the floor all you want but for heavens sake someone turn on the exhaust fan!!!

Don't worry, I'm sure United will soon segregate you to the F club at ORD, and the D club at IAD :p

Peeing on the floor doesn't help the smell either.

I like those paper covers that they provide for public toilet seats. I don't like getting one placed just right, then turning around and having the auto-flush remove it before I can sit on it. Happened to me 3 times in the PC South at IAH Sunday.

Fact is, I really don't like automatic things in restrooms at all. I know how to flush a toilet. I know how to turn on a water faucet AND set the water temperature to my preference. I know how many towels it will take to dry my hands.

While the Dyson hand dryer is one exception (I really like it), I would still prefer to have a paper towel with which I can pull a restroom door open at exit. I see way too many of you who don't wash your hands when you're leaving. Then I have to touch the same handle you just opened with God knows what on your hand? Gross! Just gross, gross, GROSS!

I think you're right. It's the same one who doesn't wash his hands before opening the door.

Almost everyone touches the stall door/lock before they watch their hands. Lots of people use towels on the door to the bathroom, but have already touched those little locks in the stall.
