I have found a fare on DL with a booking code VK073US NYC-CAI & same code for CAI-NYC
Certainly the farebasis says NO stopovers. However I want to stop over in Amsterdam for two nights on my way back. So what is the minimum farebasis that would allow this ? And, how can I display this on matrix ?

    Thanks

There is no rule like "all S fares allow stopovers" or such. Basically put in your dates and it should show you the lowest fare which allows for what you're trying to do on those dates.

Bazillion combinations on matrix, but delta.dumb has increments of Delta pesos. I am resigned to doing just lunch in AMS on a 9 hour layover. This being a Memorial Day shoulder trip can't have AMS stopover is my sense :(
