So here is a question; my self and a co-worker need to be in CHA for a meeting, he is coming from STL at a fare of $180 RT (AA has a fare sale), I coming from ORD at $390 RT and we both are on the same fight from ORD to CHA. So my question is, can't I book the same flight as him (from STL), print my boarding passes at home and then simply get on the leg from ORD to STL? I know on the return it's obviously not a problem (I've done that), just not sure if I will have a problem on the outbound.

    Thoughts?

Big problem: the airline will cancel your ticket and you will at best pay the walkup fare to get to your meeting. Do not try this.
