I booked a ticket this afternoon SEA-xxx-SEA; a simple round trip ticket. I just noticed that the receipt emailed to me says: "Issue date: October 13, 2012". It was definitely not issued on the 13th but rather the 12th around 5:30pm CT.

I've never noticed the date before so I'm not sure if all of these are wrong or not but I guess it means UA is giving us all a free day to use old tickets if they aren't flown. Thanks UA :)

Sounds similar to the advertising rules where you can't round prices down, but you can round them up. Perhaps they're playing it safe and rounding up the 1 year validity thing.

My Bahrain tickets were issued yesterday afternoon and the e-ticket receipt does say they were issued on the 13th so that is a bit odd.
