Can a new forum be far behind? https://www.greyhound.com/roadrewards/benefits.aspx Who will be among the first on MilePoint to reach Elite Rider Status? What privileges will these top customers enjoy? Preferred boarding lines? Personalized luggage tags? A private, english speaking reservation number?

Well, back in my university days I could have used that program as I came home most weekends by Greyhound. Not these days, though.

I presume since ow and *a won't take them that we'll see them in SkyTeam by end 2012. ;)

Seriously, it would be nice if airlines replicated the discount code portion of their program.

Skyteam would be a nice fit. We would have Delta code shares from Atlanta to Tifton, and Greyhound code shares to Tokyo. I probably should have posted this on the Delta Forum.

The only thing that could be worse would be if we had to ride them to get the points.

They could form their own worldwide alliance, code sharing with bus lines around the world.

Are there still competing long distance bus companies in the USA? Trailways?

Unlike the airlines, the program requires one go to a separate line to purchase priority boarding, assuming all of MP would be in the pre-booked group heading to the Will Call window first ... ;) Airlines would be willing to take your funds from pretty much any counter.
