    I do not believe so.

EVA's own website is even pretty limited for searching EVA award space.

There is apparently SOME online search functionality as part of the EVA Evergreen Club. I do not know whether one has to have miles in their EVA account in order to use it.

But finally he found it and there's space!

Havent booked yet but will Soon.

    LAX - TPE 12/29
    TPE - BKK 1/3
    BKK - TPE - LAX 1/13

Eco/Bus both have space; not sure what I'm going to do yet as 2 ppl will be traveling via Award and 3rd/4th will be doing paid flights in eco.

Last I checked, EVA awards have a separate mileage chart, and they're much more expensive than regular *A redemptions.

How many miles did the above itinerary cost? Which class of service are you redeeming in?

I would ask for the $50 phone booking fee to be refunded since it's an award that can't be done online.

Interesting; that's in-line with *A award pricing. Good to know, thanks!

Are those all EVA metal, or are there some other airlines mixed in?

PMUA couldn't book NZ's Premium Economy as an award; I'm not sure if PMCO could or not. When I last asked about the EVA award chart a few months back, the mileage required was much higher than the standard chart. If you are able to book at the *A chart rates, I'd probably take that :)

I couldnt wait so I called again. I'm not so impressed this time.

1st they said United ended their partnership 3/1 of this year and Eva no longer available. I said "wth? I just called earlier and it was bookable." They rechecked and said yes it is bookable. Their mistake.

2nd they said United will be able to book; but then it'll take 24hr for EVA to acknowledge the award ticket. (So does this mean I can book; but if Eva says no I wont get the tickets even though UA found space?)

3rdly. Bus is bookable, but not Pre Eco. Bus is in SA pricing scheme. 240k for 2 ppl.

Please let us know what you experience on final booking. Several months ago, I too called about EVA and was given the higher amount but have also heard individual cases of being able to find awards at the right lower amount.

Interesting. Does anyone know when we can expect them to be a full member of *A with bookable award fares on other *A carriers as well?

    Update:
I just made my reservation, Total came out to

    2 award
    130,000 miles

    Ticket Taxes/Fees
    $105.26

That's for 2 Eco on the above listed itinerary. I have to call back tomorrow to confirm that EVA ticketed them & then pay the fees.

    update again:
I rechecked it right now and got this.

! Your itinerary cannot be retrieved, since there are no flight segments. If you require assistance, please contact United Reservations.

I called in and got a Premier Agent (THEY SPEAK ENGLISH) and basically she said EVA air said there's not space and that my reservation is now canceled. :(

so can EVA be mixed into a normal star alliance ticket? Or does it have to be EVA-only and priced different?
