Warsaw is a fantastic city, often overlooked, we have been on a visit to Poland earlier // April // this year and have some fond memories of this capital city incl. the Old Town, the castle, the Palace of Culture and Science for views from the 30th floor, wonderful eating and drinking opportunities. A great city in a great country. We would also recommend a visit to Poznan, awesome Stary Rynek // Old Town Square, Krakow for the Castle, Old Town, a sobering visit to Auschwitz / Birkenau and Gdansk, here we have visited the historic sights and Sopot for the baltic sea. LOT is a wonderful and efficient carrier too and enjoyed flying with them each time. Regarding the value of the Zloty, oh yes, it's good value to be in Poland at the moment, great against the Euro we found out, but prices are creeping up and the value is overall not as good as it once was on a earlier visit to the Polish capital. Would highly recommend a visit to this fascinating country.:)
