Etihad vs Qatar Airways

I will fly to the Seychelles in Q1. The most convenient options are Etihad (transfer at Abu Dhabi) and Qatar Airways (via Doha). I normally fly EK to the Middle East, never used Etihad or QR.
Which airline is to prefer (service, on board entertainment, seats) and taking into account that I have to spend a few hours on Abu Dhabi or Doha.

 

Doha has the premium terminal if you are flying business or first which is great. I like QR a lot in business and find the staff to be much more friendly than Emirates for example.
