    From an email today:

"Enhanced Admirals Club Snacks — We're adding new selections to the snack offerings. Oranges and yogurt covered pretzels are now available all day. A mini butter croissant and a variety of mini Danishes were added to the morning options. Plus, you should start seeing an upgraded Otis Spunkmeyer® chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookie, mixed Mediterranean olives, crudité, and assorted cheeses to pair with tomato basil crackers for an afternoon snack."

I'm all about the yogurt covered pretzels.

Didn't realize they were going to be a system-wide enhancement, but I saw the pretzels in the DCA AC last month before a flight up to JFK.

Can confirm the cheese, crackers and olives in JFK yesterday alongside the pretzels.

Though I don't generally look to the domestic clubs for great free food options this does bring them more in line with UA.

That being said, I think AA does a much better job with the items for purchase in their clubs than UA does. And, as a general comment for domestic clubs, I think AA's are in slightly better shape on average.

Any new change from the old stuff is a major improvement. Wasnt the biggest fan of the AC's ever, besides the FL lounges.

I can confirm the changes at the A Concourse DFW Admirals Club.

Around 5PM-ish there were cheese [a variety of real cheese] & crackers next to olives and a wide variety of fruit options next to the dispensers of regular pretzels and yogurt-covered pretzels.

At another location were a plentiful amount of crudité.

This is VERY welcome change and a TRUE enhancement!

Take that Delta SkyClubs with your fake cheese! :p

I think the ACs are in just about every way superior at this point to the UCs. YMMV.:)

BOS has had crudités in the evenings for years, this is nothing new. Before these enhancements I'd say the US Airways Clubs were better in the food category but it seems AA has them beat now. Just wait...

I didn't realize systemwide improvements were actually "nothing new" just because one AC had a tray of veggies out for a few years. In that case the upcoming LAX-GRU launch is also nothing new. JFK and DFW have also had "that" for years, too. ;) :)

I was surprised to see the yogurt pretzels in BOS a couple weeks ago.

I saw them at the currently under renovation ORD G club awhile back. How did I end up notice them? Someone had unscrewed the cap on the holder and was sticking their hands into the container and pulling out his stash by hand.

Apparently he has something against the turnstile dispensers? Lol :)

I really hoped the the snacks would be more enhanced than those! We might still hope for the future! :)

I still quiver when I see the word "enhancement" when it comes to an airline, I start wondering what's going to be cut.

    Pleasantly surprised in this thread.

It goes to show that little touches have a big, broad impact. Would yogurt pretzels change my mind about purchasing club membership? No, I'd just go buy yogurt pretzels. Does the approach and offering speak volumes? Yes, and indicates a desire to provide more than a chair, a plug and ultra cheap snacks.

I'm on it! Now if only they'd replace the warm nuts with those, I'll be the happiest passenger in the skies! ;)

I'd rather have my warm nuts than your spicy nuts.
