Emirates Airline has revealed plans to refurbish all 35 of its airport lounges around the world over the next 18 to 24 months.

The Dubai-based carrier made the announcement as it inaugurated its refurbished Paris Charles de Gaulle Lounge.

It is the first of the airline’s worldwide network of lounges to be refurbished in the new interior design, originally unveiled within Emirates’ Concourse A Lounges in Dubai earlier this year.
Redesigned for a total investment of €3.8m ($4.9m), the lounge has also been relocated to a more central location, Emirates said in a statement.

The overall size of the lounge has also been boosted by 67 percent with a capacity to welcome up to 156 passengers.

The lounge can be used by First Class and Business Class passengers as well as Platinum and Gold members of Emirates Skywards - the airline’s frequent flyer programme
