Emirates Airlines

  1. Hello, guys
Glad to a part of your community.
I'm interested in Emirates Airlines...I have some questions for those who have ever flown with this company...
Does this company have direct flights from UAE to USA and vice versa?
    Something about their service?
Do they have a similar program of counting the quantity of miles?

Emirates fly to many destinations in USA non stop from Dubai UAE.
Most convenient timings and multiple departures every day of the week...
You will enjoy unmatched cabin service with well mannered cabin attendants speaking many
    languages.

  9. Hi Shaneter, I don't know much about Emerates Fights, I flew with them last November from Bankok to Hongkong. The service was impeccable, Friendly and fast. The aircraft was immaculate and the food was great. The only time I have really enjoyed a trip, since 9/11.

Can anyone comment on EY's Y service long haul -- looking at a leg on them from JFK to DXB in the near future and it will most likely be in coach/main cabin. Thank you.

Economy seas on Emirates has more pitch then others, a pretty comfortable experience

Although I flew Emirates' First class on the A380 and the shower was amazing :)

EY will likely catch up though, Etihad and Emirates are fierce rivals.

EY is the code for a minor Tanzanian airline Eagle Air. I think you're meaning something else
Do you mean EK, Emirates? I think you do because it is the one that has the JFK-DXB nonstops.
I have flown EK only in F (lucky!) but everyone I know thinks they're as good as it gets in Y also.

of course the EK Forum is the best place to hear about that, as others have said.
FWIW, I fly EK as my first choice on routes I fly that have EK.

According to Wikipedia, both Etihad and Eagle Air (Tanzania) share the IATA code EY.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airline_codes-E
It appears when they believe that the route networks are not likely to overlap, IATA will assign the same code to multiple airlines.

I have not. I have flown the B777 on all my EK flights bar one, and that A380 flight I did not try the shower.

I think I should have known better. For some reason Abu Dhabi and airline will not compute for me sometimes. Maybe my OS is pre-Windows 3.1 or something equally inefficient.
