Probably a stupid question, but I'm wondering...is it possible to use an eMCO against the taxes on an Aeroplan reward ticket? I can't find anything that says that it's not allowed...yet it seems like it's probably not allowed.

    Anyone know?

Your eMCO is with AC isn't it? Since Aeroplan is a separate company I don't think you will have much luck.

Very sure you cannot as SensFan says you are purchasing from AE not AC. However, if you've noticed on ticketing it is AC that actually charges the fees on the reward ticket. Don't think it actually changes anything on your original question, but just shows some of the strange dynamics between the two separate entities.

Agreed, it's a purchase from AE, however the terms do allow for redemption when purchasing from a Travel Agent...so how is this different (I know AE is not a travel agent...but)?
