I have stayed at a few Embassy Suites properties recently where the TV channels did not include CNBC (or any other dedicated business channel). The standard terrible LodgeNet TV contractor seemed to be there, but no business coverage (LodgeNet usually has non-HD CNBC everywhere, I thought....). I asked at the desk in Sacramento and the clueless desk person said they revised the channels sometime back at all Embassy Suites. I find it curious that Hilton would set a brand standard that ignores the interests of business travellers. That seems unlikely. I put it on a comment card a few months ago, but got no response.... I guess I like the Sheraton Grand in Sacto better anyway....

Nope. No Fox Biz Network, not even any Bloomberg (which I think is totally free to cable companies). Last night I stayed in the ES Glendale, in the LA area. Nope: no CNBC or business channels either.
