For those in SEA, is CO generally elite heavy to EWR? Looking at the 7am departure on a Thusday.

  2. my upgrades have always clearer from sea. in fact 4 of us CO flyers cleared a fewweeks ago on the same flight.

As a Plat, my upgrades have always cleared on this route even on some cheaper fare classes.

As a Plat my upgrades usually clear.
I missed on in January of 2011 but my fare class was L.

Oddly, even though SEA-EWR operates with far less frequency than SEA-IAH, the SEA-EWR flights are always easier upgrades. Plats often get the 5 day EUA. Whereas with SEA-IAH Plats often sit in the back or are battlefield upgraded.

I think this might have something to do with CO's SEA-ANC route. CO is one of the few airlines that flies to Anchorage, and on the red-eyes I sometimes take to IAH, there's a whole bunch of passengers from ANC who just got off and wait around until the plane re-boards.

Think it really depends on the details; I've cleared and missed SEA-IAR/EWR flights and the best I can figure out is that Saturday morning, Tuesday, and Wednesday are the easiest with the Sunday and Thursday evening red-eyes being the hardest.
