This is great news--especially the elite bonus for those traveling on UA or CO. My domestic flights in the US will give me 2x the miles (albeit bonus miles)!

The wording is a bit confusing though--will DIA elites get 125% on UA and CO flights or just the 100% for 1Ks, etc. I believe it is the former, but I'd like to see some examples...

They will receive what are indicated by "their" FFP ! ie. DIA will get DIA bonuses at UA, while 1K will get 1K bonuses on NH....

I guess we shall all hold out for the English version but still very promising.

    Surprised JALPak?

Ok. Somehow I thought I posted this a few days back.
Is it confirmed that USA domestic flights that have basically no link to transpacific PNR will earn NH elite bonus?
Thus COS + elite = approximately a 100% increase in RDM.

And that is UA and CO only. Not USAir metal US domestic flights?

And what happens if I fly SFO to YVR or PVR? It's not US domestic?

What about the various regional airlines doing business under the United or United Express name (Atlantic Southeast, ExpressJet, GoJet, Mesa, Shuttle America, SkyWest, Trans States) or the Continental/Continental Express name (ExpressJet, Chautauqua, Continental Connection)? I assume they're covered, but no details have been released.

Just a guess but these may be a No-Go. Last time I tried to book a *A award with US miles, the EL (Air Nippon/Japan whichever it is) was not available to redeem. This may be an issue as well for UA and CO earners if they are trying to earn on these flights.

I have two of these flights in April/May, so I guess I get to find out the hard way. Strangely they're sold as NH codeshares, so you'd think they'd be covered...

Right, you can definitely accrue on NH but not sure about other partners.

Because EL, Skywest, etc are not Star Alliance members.

I know. I guess my assumption is that since I can accumulate PPs in AMC when flying on these UA-branded regional carriers, it would make sense that I would also get the elite bonus after April 1. I'll cross my fingers!

(BTW I'm flying nothing but HND-ITM and back once a week for the next two months >_< What I would give even for a hop to SEL in C...)

I'm with UA's MP and was wondering if this works the other way around as well? Will I also get the Elite Bonus with ANA flights?

When purchasing a ticket, I generally avoid ANA like the plague as they only give 70% of the award miles/elite status miles unless one buys Y or E fares. Furthermore, they don't give any extra Elite Status miles/points when flying C or F to non-AMC members.

So do I understand that if I currently have no United status, but booked as I did today a K class IAD-NRT ticket that was booked (thru Travelocity) as an ANA flight, I'll get 100% miles on United and don't have to rush out to cancel the flight.

Oops. After I posted, I found that ANA now has the answer on its Web site, though buried a little.

    It's here: http://www.ana.co.jp/wws/us/e/local/amc/jv/
