Seems like the severe fog really gave Etihad a major headache.
The death of any passenger is always hard and when it comes on the back of a long delay...

A different article on how passengers were stuck on the tarmac for 12 hours.

Besides being uncomfortable this is a pretty serious health risk due to DVT from prolonged inactivity.

Etihad failed its first test rather spectacularly.

I like Etihad despite them having a rough couple of days

there was a huge sandstorm in Tripoli, Libya at my departure time on Etihad, they delayed boarding time and gave everyone vouchers for lunch and the plane took off safely 3 hours later

all their planes are brand new, service is good and they are good value for the $$$ paid
