    Economist just came out with its 2011 Most Liveable Cities survey and for the 5th yr in a row, Vancouver is the best place to live.
    3 of the top 5 were Canadian cities and 4 of the Top 10 were Australian cities.

    2. Melbourne, Australia
    3. Vienna, Austria
    4. Toronto, Canada
    5. Calgary, Canada
    6. Helsinki, Finland
    7. Sydney, Australia
    8. (equal) Perth, Australia
    8. (equal) Adelaide, Australia
    10. Auckland, New Zealand

    other notables
    Top Asian city - 12. Osaka
    Top US City - 29. Pittsburgh PA
    Least liveable city - 140. Harare, Zimbabwe

    sniff... ZRH and GVA used to be part of the top 10 on that list as far as I remember... [​IMG] Now they're probably just in the top ranks when it comes to the most expensive places to live in!
