How is easyJet anyways? Thinking of using them for an intra-Europe flight since their fares (including the extra legroom and checked bag fee) is somewhat similar to that of AF. However, the cheaper AF fares depart early/late in the day compared to easyJet.

We like EasyJet and their departure times are often pretty good indeed, the only thing what bothers us a bit / or did bother us a few times / is that they were often a bit delayed, which once cost us nearly a whole afternoon in LIS. Overall, I would recommend them, I do hope that their on-time performance has since been upped to say the least. We like their modern, clean planes and their employees are usually friendly, this incl. ground staff and in-flight staff. Cheers & Safe Travels. :)
