    Hi all,

Just wanted to ask for your collective wisdom on AA tier point earnings in the US.

    Suppose I fly:

    ATL - ORD on a V fare
    ORD - ATL on a P fare

Am I correct in assuming I will earn 10 + 60 tier points (discounted coach + first)?

Thanks for any corrections to my thinking!

    5 + 60

A sector in coach ticketed fully flex will earn 20 TPs; Discounted coach at 25%, so 5 TPs for the ATL-ORD V class

Didn't the change last year increase the tier point earnings to 50% on discounted coach? Or does that only apply to BA flights?

    Thanks,

Indeed. You are absolutely right. 50% on discounted coach on all oneworld carriers

    Thanks, Prospero!

In the end, I didn't need the answer, since the instant upgrade option was really cheap on the trip I decided on ... so I will overachieve on my quest to reach Gold.

    Cheers,
